Terms of service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Who these terms cover
These terms apply to this website and to services purchased from Thornless Web Services LLC (“Thornless,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or buying our services, you agree to them. Questions are always welcome at hello@thornless.app.
Our services
We design and build websites for small businesses and provide ongoing hosting for the sites we build. Our builds do not include e-commerce or payment processing on your site.
Websites shown in the “concept previews” section of our homepage are fictional demonstration builds created by us. They do not depict real businesses or client engagements, and any resemblance to a real business is coincidental.
Payments
Purchases are made through payment links processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. Prices are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Website builds are one-time payments; hosting is billed monthly and you may cancel future renewals at any time by emailing us.
If something isn't right with your purchase, contact us and we'll work it out with you directly.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, which pages are viewed and what kinds of devices they're viewed on. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them through the cookie banner shown on your first visit; declining does not change how the site works. Details on what is collected and how to change your choice are in our privacy policy.
Ownership
Once your website build is paid for, the finished website — its design, copy, and content — belongs to you. Content you provide to us (such as your logo, photos, and text) remains yours, and you are responsible for having the rights to use it.
Hosting expectations
We work to keep hosted sites fast, secure, and available, including applying updates and keeping backups. However, no host can promise uninterrupted service, and we do not guarantee that hosted sites will be available at all times. If planned maintenance requires downtime, we'll aim to schedule it considerately.
Limitation of liability
Our services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thornless Web Services LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or our services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and material changes to ongoing services will be communicated to affected customers by email.
